HGV 2 vacuum Tanker Driver / Coalville / Temp2perm / 45 Hour week Monday to Friday , overtime available / £11 - £13.50 per hour + Holiday Pay
Licences required: HGV 2 Category Licence, CPC & Digi card
The starting rate of pay is between £11 - £13.50 per hour DEPENDANT ON EXPERIENCE + any overtime/call allowance. – This is reviewed over a sustained period depending on working capabilities and knowledge
45 hours Mon-Fri (09.30 till 16.30), however on occasions may be asked to start early or work late depending on works with as much notice provided as possible
Overtime is paid a time and a half after 45 hours, with double time being paid after 10pm or on Sundays/Bank Holidays
Weekend work is also available.
Call Rota – We currently have a call rota in place which is 1 week in 5 (Mon-Fri), however depending on number of employees this may change. You are also required to be on call for a Sat or Sun prior to your call week). Bank Holidays also need to be covered, however these are shared out between all engineers. - Call allowance is paid

The role will not involve a lot of driving as predominately East Midlands based
Driving and operating a JetVac Tanker
Assist the Drainage Operative clearing and unblocking drainage blockages
Leading a two-man team operating high pressure jetting equipment and jet vacuum units
Attending drainage related issues, including emergency call-outs to deal with blockages or cleaning pipes during regular maintenance programs
Firstly, you need to love working outdoors in all weather and you must be physically fit as the job involves some heavy lifting. Ideally you’ll have experience in using Jet-Vac equipment; although working within the waste industry experience is not necessary as we will provide training to get you to the required standard to operate Jet-vac tankers.
We take our customer satisfaction seriously, so you will need to be polite, kind and respectful when dealing with customers and the general public and observe all health and safety requirements.
You must be able to work on your own and as part of a team while supporting other operatives or engineers and you will need to be able to carry out daily and weekly maintenance checks on your vehicles and pumps to ensure all equipment is fully operational.
